About the Position: We are seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team and supervise the daily operations of our material preparation manufacturing department. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of employees engaged in operating various machines to manufacture parts or products. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment and will possess strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. The Production Supervisor will ensure that safety, quality, cost and time are efficiently managed throughout the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team.
• Manage and measure the output of personnel to meet production schedules, ensuring that products and
manufactured to the required specifications.
• Practice strong planning skills, setting goals, and measuring and evaluating results.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Teach and develop employees to create a skilled and flexible workforce, identifying and addressing training needs
as necessary.
• Ensure the smooth flow of materials, information, and labor to meet production needs.
• Communicate with other departments in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Understand bottlenecks that limit production and take necessary corrective action, using analytical problem-solving
skills.
• Ensure proper visual controls are being used and updated to improve flow.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures and ensure that all employees do the same.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of manufacturing software is a plus.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
