As a lead field technician, your 3-10 years experience will bring you daily success working as a part of a team or independently installing, implementing, troubleshooting, programming and testing high end audio, video, lighting and shade systems in residential and commercial environments.
Pre-wire, integrate and commission audio and video distribution system, home theaters, conference rooms, huddle spaces, and other residential and commercial systems.
Dress an equipment rack
Document and label systems
Connect & Configure devices
Understand operation and programming of control systems (Crestron, URC, HAI). This includes loading programs, configuring devices updating firmware and fully testing systems once running.
Provide a bug list for the programmer
Shade, thermostat, and lighting prewire and installation
Programming not required
Work with staff network engineer to set-up network
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for IP devices
Understanding of modems, routers, switches
Comfortable using IP tools on a smart phone
Cat5/6 cable testing and verification
Effectively communicate what was completed on each project
What needs to be completed on each project
Accurately document materials used on each project
Document what materials are needed to complete each project
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to ensure all relevant deadlines are met
Perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands
Highly motivates and genuinely enthusiastic
3 -10 years relevant field experience
Any related industry certificates
