Alaant is hiring a skilled Leave Management Specialist to join a respected Capital Region non-profit that supports individuals with disabilities. This is an opportunity to join a growing HR team and be part of a mission that makes a real impact in our community!
As the Leave Management Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the coordination and administration of various employee leave programs such as the NYS PFL, Disability, FMLA and Worker’s Compensation. This is a visible role where you’ll be working directly with employees, supervisors and healthcare professionals regarding required paperwork, documentation and compliance. Our client offers an excellent benefits package and plenty of opportunities to give back to the community.
The salary range is $45,000 - $50,000, based on experience.
Successful candidates will possess the following skills, education and experience:
• Associate degree in Business or related field required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience working directly with employee leave management and worker’s compensation
• HR Certification is preferred (PHR and/or SHRM-CP)
