Why us, why now?

The Lead Salesforce Engineer is a Salesforce product and platform expert and will work across several business clusters within AAMC to understand the needs and translate them into viable and sustainable solutions. Some of the responsibilities include

• Design Complex Enterprise Solutions using the Salesforce Platform.

• Negotiate solutions to complex problems with our various business clusters.

• Drive the creation of technical design documents leveraging Salesforce's best practices.

• Provide technical guidance to our application development team

• Advise and mentor diverse internal and external teams.

• Collaborate with lead developers in setting standards and driving quality coding practices

This is a hands-on role and will require participation in active development or configuration of the platform components as the need may be. As the Lead Salesforce Engineer will research and integrate design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities. This often could also include designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software and/or application programs.

How will you make an impact?

•Facilitate requirements conversations with a view to understand customer needs and connect the dots across technology capabilities, integration needs, data sources, tools and expected customer outcomes
•Design, describe, and manage the solution engineering in relation to specific business problems
•Develop, document and introduce technical vision for a particular solution​ and design specifications
•Articulate solution to both business users and technical teams to implement the best solution
•Assist and coach technical teams in implementing and supporting the solution effectively
•Create RESTful web services technologies and APIs.
•Develop on the Force.com platform with Visual force, Apex, controllers, Triggers, and Apex Data Loader.
•Integrate Salesforce.com software with 3rd party solutions.
•Create SPQL/SQL scripts to query Oracle and SQL DB.
•Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for architectural and process improvements
•Perform Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud administrative tasks such as: create new page layouts, build drop-down lists, build custom objects and related lists, account maintenance, defining fields, configure workflows, knowledge management, and create Reports/Dashboards.
•Create and update user roles, security, profiles, business rules, and permission sets.
•Move code from lower sandboxes to production environment and address issues related to functionality, integration, etc.
•Create enterprise integrations with tools to extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools, such as informatica and Demand Tools from AppExchange.
•Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as applications are developed.

What you’ll bring to the role:

•B.S. in Computer Science or a relevant discipline required. Master’s degree highly desirable.
•5+ years of SFDC experience
•Previous experience developing solution architecture, designing, implementing and supporting Salesforce
•Experience working on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Chatter and App-exchange applications
•Experience with custom application development in the Salesforce Platform, utilizing Lightning Components/Framework
•Experience with object modeling in Salesforce and good understanding of database concepts
•Experience with integrating with the Salesforce platform (inbound/outbound) using the REST/SOAP APIs or Data Loader
•Deep understanding of Salesforce platform, CRM capabilities, product features, constraints, and integration requirements
•Proven ability to direct the activities of others in time sensitive critical projects, ability to multi-task effectively, and negotiate trade-offs
•Strong professional presence, energetic personality, can-do attitude, experience working with customers at all organizational levels
•Highly effective written and oral communications skills
•Knowledge in Agile Scrum practices, Software Development, and Product Life Cycle Management
•Salesforce Architect certification preferred
•Availability after-hours as needed

If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
