About the Job
WVP Health Authority is seeking an experienced full-time pharmacist, licensed in Oregon (or has the ability to be licensed in Oregon). Successful candidate will be able to manage multiple, highly visible projects simultaneously and have analytic skills with the ability to transform data & trends into actionable projects. Incumbent will have occasional call coverage to consult with on-call nursing staff.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work requires sitting for long periods of time, in a business office environment. Occasionally lifting of supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an business office environment. A normal level of stress may be associated with this position as several deadlines are imposed by federal and state requirements. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
HOURS: This is an exempt (salaried) position. Work hours are generally 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1 hour allotted lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional work hours that may extend before and after normal business hours may be needed to fulfill business needs.
Provides support for utilization management activities.
Responsible for providing clinics with pharmaceutical analysis.
Develops utilization management programs focused on a patient and provider educational activities.
Develops and implements evidence-based clinical drug utilization programs.
Participates in health plan QI initiatives.
Conducts Medication Reconciliation and Medication Management Therapy
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Doctor of Pharmacy
Eligible for licensure in Oregon
5 years managed or PBM experience
Strong clinical, verbal and written communication skills
